Rock Star Photos- more Love Is Chemicals

Ever since my last post from the latest Love Is Chemicals show, I've been meaning to post these band photos I did for them back in Feb. I figure they won't be seen anywhere after this since Steve has left the band and they'll need different band photos. Kinda inconvenient for me guys!! But I suppose nobody was thinking of me when they were making these decisions, were they?!!

More of Ella Mo Fella

After I posted those last pictures of Ella, my mom sent me an email saying how she was excited to finally see Ella, and so it dawned on me that those were the first and only pictures I've posted of her!! So I thought I'd go back and post a few from last November. This is the day Shawn and I first met Elle- so little!!!!

And these ones are from the baby shower that Courtney and I threw for her on November 17th. We had bites from one of Heather's favorite places, La Mediterranean, a fabulous coconut cake made by liz, and I must not forget the fruit platter designed by Nate and Shawn.

there was also lots of friends anxious to hold the babe!
and a happy new mom :)

ella bella

Monday was a big day for the Beckstead family since it meant that Ella is now a full-fledged Beckstead. Here's a few pics from the celebration:

ella was so funny when her buddy Keanu got there. She just wanted to be near him, and kiss him, and hug him, and love him, and slobber on him, and keep him for her own! She really just couldn't get enough of him- it was so cute!

and can you blame her!! Look at this guy! He is a serious stud!

Ella and Keanu are one week apart in age but about 6 cheek sizes apart.

Anyway, here are alex and heather watching their daughter throw herself all over the boy :)

Shane, Annie, Matzi and Charlie

Last month I got a chance to photograph these guys. By way of introduction, Annie is a fabulous little girl whose love for her dogs and dad is outweighed only by her love for, and slight obsession with, Dinosaurs. (Just in the few hours I was there, she modeled dinosaur pajamas for me, read a dinosaur book to her dog Matzi, told her dad a story about dinosaurs while they sat on the slide, and began watching "The Land Before Time", a movie about dinosaurs.)
Anyway, I had a great afternoon with them and feel like we got some really beautiful "everyday life" shots. It is those most simple ones, the ones that don't necessarily reflect anything other than what life is like at 5:14 in the afternoon in your house, that are my favorites.
