Ella's official Photo Shoot

Back in July I did this photo shoot for Alex and Heather, and as with pretty much everything I do for friends, it took me forever to finally get them their images; Ella looks like a totally different girl now!! She's barely pulling herself up in these photos and now she's walking all over town! But anyway, we had a great time, although I think Milo was a little jealous of all the attention going to the new kid!

Back at home for bath time, we have my favorite shot of the day!

More from Rachel and Brooks

I didn't get to posting the rest of Rachel and Brooks the other day so here's a few more from the reception:

I love these next two pictures- they are so Brooks! He used to be a DJ years ago so he just couldn't stand to be on the other side of the table. He pretty much kicked the DJ out and took over- it was hilarious.

Rachel's Dad with his new son-in-law :)

Also, here are a few from the day before the wedding. They spent the day out on Lake Tahoe with all their family and friends

I love love love this next image of Rachel with all her bridesmaids!

I jumped off the boat to go swimming at one point and immediately got right back on the boat. Man, I hate cold things.

They ended the day over at Sunnyside, with drinks and boys playing games that I'll never quite understand :) I let one of the friends play with my camera and he had a blast!

Rachel and Brooks get Married

Late this summer Maria and I shot Brooks and Rachel's wedding up in Squaw Valley. The two of them met and fell in love up in those mountains so it was the obvious place to get married. (But honestly, how could you not fall in love in such a beautiful place!)
So we were up there with them for 3 days and it was so nice! Their friends and family were just really great to us- lots of warm sun and good food- I'll post some pictures from the rest of the days after this, but for now, here are some of my faves from the wedding day:

Absolutely perfect bridesmaid dresses, an even more fantastic bride and maids, a million and a half groomsmen all in snazzy cowboy boots, an adoring grandpa, two canine ring bearers, and a missing-toothed flower girl

Previous to this wedding, I'd gotten some wonderful ideas from Jesh de Rox that really helped me create a meaningful couple of moments for Rachel and all her friends- I loved it.

and a few more later . . .
